Grass Frames’ was at Vancouver Community Science Celebration (VCSC) family weekend at Science World on October 13 & 14. We were invited as part of the festivities around opening their brand new outdoor facility.

Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Area’s (MPBIA) 3rd annual Autumn Shift Festival (ASF) on September 15th from 12PM-6PM. A great time was had as local vendors and businesses came out in style to celebrate and display their goods. If you happened by 12th and Main you inevitably met up with the Grass Frames crew.

Teaming up with The Babes. Grass Frames has some frames on the go, the Bicycle Babes. Why the Bicycle Babes? After all, cycling is sexy. They choose a different worthy charity to donate to each year, so be sure to put the call out if you know a group in need.

The culmination of Grass Frames’ collaboration with the Vancouver Biennale and the artist Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun, was the various bicycle rides happening through the city of Vancouver; Vancouver Tour Medio 60KM, Tour de Biennale 110 KM, Tour Challenge 125KM. There was also a support station and congregation area set up at Queen Elizabeth Park.

What would a Vancouver summer be without The Pride. Grass Frames was delighted to team up with the Vancouver Biennale to ride the parade. We were also to be found at the beach, available for questions about our frames and bicycles and to talk about the Vancouver Biennale and their upcoming tour.
